A lovely beach..very cheap, very provincial but very famous.

I took these picture of Argao Beach Club when I was still pregnant. Together with my family, we would go there and have an exercise to prepare myself for the battle in delivering my baby. I took swimming exercise. You can see the beach is so peaceful. You can have this kind of tranquility if you go there in the morning. Not overcrowded with people. So the best result you got is a very wonderful beach scenery.

According to hearsay, the famous actor Bong Revilla Jr. once taped his movie in this beach. Unfortunately, for many years now, the beach lost its famous amenities and nice cottages but it still hasn't lost its natural beauty which will take your breath away. The beach is a natural beauty. White sand and rocky. you can even see the Bohol island from the beach. They said its only two hours ride from a small boat. I'm so proud to have lived in a place where nature is still a wonder.

it's not easy to row a boat

After you've searched the zoo, you can have a playful time in their small pond. There is a boat-riding amenity. It's only for P5.00, you can already ride the boat for unlimited time. The water was dirty though. But it was fun.

oops, one horse is broken. they're heavy, y'know.

You can also find a giant chessboard. Which you can actually stand upon.

We saw a monkey too, which I think is present in all of the zoos I've been to.

There's also a pair of guinea pig. Maybe they're couple?

We saw rabbits and their little bunnies.

One of the animals you can find there is the night heron or lapay in our vernacular.

After the statue, you can just follow on the man-made trails leading to their small zoo. But before you reach the zoo, you will be met by a wide-eyed wooden statue of a man or something. Nobody told us who or what it was. What can you make of that picture?

As soon as you go inside the park, you will be accommodated by the park's caretaker and you have to give payment for the entrance fee. And on your left, you will see a giant wooden statue of Mangao, who believed to be an agta (giant) that lived in the caves of Mount Lantoy.

Last Saturday afternoon, together with my baby and my brother, we went again to Argao Nature Park. You see, the park's fee is so cheap everybody can go inside. Entrance fee was P5.00 each, regardless if a child or an adult. It's fix. If you want to go boat-riding, you can and you only have to pay P5.00 too.

Chowking pork siomai [29.00]. Three pieces of siomai for P29.00 is fair enough. The taste was good. You won't be unlucky eating this siomai for 29.00. you will still have a change of 1.00 from your P30.00 bill. hehehe

Chowking pork Chow-fan [P39.00]. I had these for dinner last night. No drinks. I'm staying away from caffeine as much as I can. Well, it's an option not to have soft drink, and if you do want to have soft drink, you have to pay P10.00 more with your Chow-fan. the chow-fan is of many variants. There's pork, beef, spicy, and with ham. I chose the pork chow-fan because again it's the cheapest. The chow-fan was good and so was the siomai. It was delectable especially with the sauce on. I had a very sumptuous dinner for a low price only.

Jolibee hot chocolate. Very out-of-this-world taste!

Jolibee breakfast joy number 8 [P68.00]. This value meal consist of a garlic-fried rice, sausage, fried egg and hot chocolate (you can also choose pineapple, but I like hot chocolate in the morning). It's my nth time eating this value meal, coz it's the cheapest meal with rice. I waited 8 minutes for this meal and the result, the food was not-so-good. First, the rice was not properly cooked. It was still uncooked. I think, they were catching up with the minute so they served the rice even if it's not yet cooked. The sausage was again, half-cooked. It was not cook in the inside. So I didn't enjoyed it much. But the reputation was regained by the hot chocolate. Very hot and sweet. Good for anybody who has a sweet tooth like me. Nevertheless, I was repleted by the food.

gourd

Big gourd/patola/sikwa. In our sideyard, not backyard we have a gourd hanging on our dirty kitchen. It bore lots of gourd sizes: long, short, big or small. But this one was the biggest that we found in our yard. Come and take a look at this. (that's my brother in the pic)
